Concerned with Tribal programmatic budget cuts? Staff cuts? Loss of employment?

President Trump’s new proposed federal budget could spell disaster for Indian Country. In this time of funding insecurity and possible massive cuts to Tribal budgets, Tribal members need to come together.

How do we make our Tribal economy strong, successful, and what our people need? SPRC’s new workshop series, Protecting Tribal Economies, will present opportunities for you to share your concerns about protecting and defending Tribal funding and learn ways we can be proactive and build strong economies.

These free workshops are for Tribal Planners, Tribal leaders, Tribal Program Directors, community members, and all Tribal members worried about the future of our Tribal Nations. Refreshments will be served, and CEUs will be provided.

The first session will be held June 29th at Turtle Mountain Community College in Belcourt ND. It will also be offered on July 12th at Cankdeska Cikana Community College in Ft. Totten, and on July 13th at the Standing Rock Sioux Tribal Admin Building in Ft. Yates. Visit the Events Calendar for details and registration info. We hope to see you there!
