Learning Lakota Origins at Wind Caves National Park!

Submit an application to participate in this fun-willed weekend learning about Lakota Tribal origins at the Wind Caves and connecting with our homelands through the National Parks.

The deadline to apply is Friday, August 12.

This opportunity is open to all Native youth, age 13–17 years old, living in the Bismarck-Mandan-Lincoln area. Space is limited, however, and submitting an application is not a guarantee to attend. Emails will be sent for confirmation of final list of attendees.

We’ll be leaving from SPRC at 8 AM on Friday, August 26th, and returning at 10 PM on Saturday, August 27th. Check out the flyer for a complete schedule (click here to download).

Sponsored by the Sacred Pipe Resource Center through the generosity of the Hopa Mountain and the National Park Service’s Connecting with Our Homelands Grant.
