AIA Class: Flat/Running Stitch Beading

In this 5-part class, participants will complete an earring and/or necklace set to their specifications (colors, etc.) using the flat/running stitch. The class is taught by NAU member artist Taylor Wilkinson. All materials will be provided.
Classes are open to youth and adults ages 12 and up. You must commit to attending all of the days in the class to finish the project. The Flat/Running Stitch Beading Class will be held September 11, 12, 13, 18 & 19th. All classes will be held from 5:30–8:00 p.m. at the Will-Moore School, Room 107, 400 E. Avenue E.

Native Artists United (NAU) and the Sacred Pipe Resource Center are providing a series of American Indian Art classes in the fall of 2018 and spring of 2019. The classes are free of charge, thanks to the generosity of the First Nations Development Institute. Classes will be led by local expert Native artists, members of NAU.
