Great news we are so excited to share! Thanks to a lot of work from Bismarck-Mandan American Indian community, Northland Health Centers will be expanding to a new Community Health Center in Bismarck. The expansion will be funded by a New Access Point (NAP) Grant through the Health Resources and Services Administration.

One of the factors in getting the grant was a number of letters written by community members advocating for the center and expressing the need for specific health services. It is YOUR advocacy that led to this success!

The Community Health Center will help serve underserved and vulnerable populations such as the American Indian population. The center will provide primary and preventive care, behavioral health services as well as a walk-in clinic. There will also be specific cultural services and programs developed as part of this effort. Stay tuned!
