Get ready to swish those fringes and ribbons—your choice—during the upcoming pow-wow season! This session, led by NAU artists Willow Doll and Kelsey Tortalita, will help you make a personalized shawl or ribbon skirt.
Classes are open to youth and adults ages 12 and up. You must commit to attending all of the days in the class to finish the project.
Dates: March 5, 6, 7, 12 & 13, 2019.
The cost of the classes is $25.00 per participant, due at the first class. This fee will cover all materials, refreshments, and food provided. Native youth under the age of 17 are FREE.
Native Artists United (NAU) and the Sacred Pipe Resource Center are providing a series of American Indian Art classes in the fall of 2018 and spring of 2019, with support from First Nations Development Institute. Classes are led by local expert Native artists, members of NAU.
