Did you know that Native peoples recognize rocks as an integral part of nature, including our origin stories? Bismarck NATIVE Rocks! is an initiative from the Native Artists United (NAU) local artists cooperative to bring Native culture and perspective to the Bismarck Rocks fun!

This event will teach participants about the role of rocks in Native culture as they paint their own rocks—utilizing Native symbols and markings—to share with the Bismarck-Mandan community! This event is open to all young and young-at-heart interested in participating. All materials will be provided.
