Calling All American Indian Youth!

QUEST TALKS are conversations with American Indian youth and their parents about finding vision and balance in an unbalanced world. QUEST TALKS are for learning, sharing, having FUN, and SOCIAL JUSTICE. Youth ages 10-17 and their parents/guardians are invited to this final session.

Quest Talk: INVOLVEMENT will focus on the power of Native youth to improve their community and the world. Once you are well and have a sense of belonging, it is important for youth to contribute to their community! This event will feature speaker Mark Trahant of Trahant Reports. We’ll also be taking a tour of Bismarck community projects and brainstorming ideas for a youth group civic project. Prizes will be awarded in the morning!

Parents are required to be present for the first part of the evening from 6-8PM for the meal and conversation. This is an overnight event. Meals and snacks will be provided. Youth should be sure to bring pajamas, toothbrush & toothpaste, pillow and/or sleeping bag, and of course your favorite teddy bear. 🙂 SPRC can provide sleeping bags if you need one, just let us know on the registration form.
