QUEST TALKS are conversations with American Indian youth and their parents about finding vision and balance in an unbalanced world. QUEST TALKS are for learning, sharing, having FUN, and improving the world we live in. These events are FREE, recommended for grade 7 and up.

Each event will focus on a specific issue, with conversations led by different community leaders. This month’s conversation, led by Dr. Darryl Tonemah, will focus on the impact of historical trauma and healing, including how we can create juvenile justice systems that heal. Both parents and youth are invited to attend. The rest of the night will feature youth activities such as traditional speakers, team-building activities, group projects, and movies.

All youth must be pre-registered to attend. Please check the Event detail pages in the Calendar for updated details and registration info.

These events are sponsored by the Sacred Pipe Resource Center through a grant from the North Dakota Humanities Council.
