The Elephant & the Giraffe: The Story of Diversity Management

This workshop uses the story of the elephant and the giraffe to help managers, supervisors, and human resource professionals reflect upon the dynamics of managing a diverse workforce. As the city, the state, and the entire country becomes more diverse, how do we continue to grow healthy and successful organizations? Principles in this session will help make diversity an asset rather than a challenge.

• Articulate ways in which diversity impacts organizations negatively and positively
